Ayah privacy policy

Your reading stays on your device

Ayah does not require an Ayah account. Your bookmarks, personal reflections, reading position, daily intentions, streaks, reading history, language and display preferences, and first-use date are stored locally. The first-use date controls the introduction period. Ayah does not send this information to a developer account, remote sync service, advertising service, or analytics service. The app has no advertising or analytics integration.

Local storage is not a separate encrypted vault or a cloud backup service. Your operating system's backups may include app data according to your device settings. We cannot recover your local reflections if they are lost. Device language preferences are used locally to suggest a supported reading language.

Offline text and internet audio

Quran texts and fonts are bundled for offline reading. Requesting recitation connects to the Islamic Network audio CDN at cdn.islamic.network. The requested file identifies the verse and reciter. The CDN receives connection information such as your IP address and may process server logs under its own practices. Ayah does not send your reflections or bookmarks with audio requests. Audio requires internet and may use mobile data. Ayah does not record microphone audio.

Apple subscriptions

Apple processes payments. Ayah uses native Apple purchase and verified subscription-status information to grant membership access and restore purchases. The app does not receive your payment card details. Apple manages subscription trial eligibility and cancellation. See Apple's privacy policy.

Sharing and external destinations

When you choose to share a verse through the device share sheet, the app or recipient you select receives the content you choose to share. External source links open Tanzil, QuranEnc, Quran.com, or Al Quran Cloud. Subscription-management, terms, and privacy links open Apple's services. Those destinations have their own privacy practices.

Your choices

You can remove bookmarks and edit or remove personal reflections in the app. Deleting the app removes its local data, subject to device backups and operating-system behavior. Deleting the app does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage or cancel a subscription in Apple Account settings or at Apple subscription management. No Ayah account exists to delete.

Contact and this website

If you contact support, the operator receives the information you choose to send and uses it to respond. Please avoid sending private reflections, payment card details, passwords, or Apple verification codes.

This website is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process IP addresses and routine request information to deliver and protect the site under its privacy policy. We add no analytics scripts, forms, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels to these pages. Email sent to support@parksync.net passes through Cloudflare Email Routing and our email providers. We use support messages to respond and retain them as needed to handle the request, follow up, and meet legal obligations. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information you sent to support.
